A website that answers the question a buyer arrived with.
- Most B2B websites are built as a brochure and used as a verification step. By the time somebody arrives they usually know roughly who you are; what they are deciding is whether to shortlist you, often on a phone, before anybody picks up a call. This page is about building for that moment.
The site is not the introduction. It is the assessment.
By the time somebody reaches your website they have usually been referred, or they found you in a search they already knew the answer to. What happens next is checking: is this firm the right size, do they do this exact thing, have they done it for someone like me, and can I reach a person. Most sites answer none of those in the first screen.
The record of work is the page they came for
Across 54 Singapore B2B sites we reviewed in August 2026, 19 published no project record at all. It is the single most common gap, and it is the page a buyer opens first.
Contact has to survive a phone
Four of those 54 published their email only as an image, so it could not be copied or tapped. Three published no address on their own domain at all.
It is checked, then rechecked
The visit before the meeting and the visit after are different jobs. The second one is looking for reasons to say no.
What we draw before we design anything.
The first page of every diagnostic is a map of how work actually moves through the business: who touches an enquiry, and where it waits. The example below is illustrative. Yours is drawn from your own enquiry flow. The red boxes are where it leaks.
When a new site is the answer, and when it is not.
A rebuild is worth doing when the site is actively costing you work. It is worth postponing when the problem is somewhere behind it.
Worth doing when
- Buyers check you before they call, and there is nothing to check.
- The work you do now is not the work the site describes.
- Enquiries arrive and nobody owns the reply.
- You are being compared to firms half your size and losing.
Worth postponing when
- The enquiry lands in an inbox nobody has been made responsible for.
- Nothing has been photographed and nobody has time to write.
- You want it live by Friday for an event.
- The last three suppliers were fired and the brief has not changed.
What actually moves the number.
Not the page count, which is what most quotes are priced on. Four things move it, and three of them are about your side rather than ours. We quote once we have looked, never before.
A site is mostly writing and pictures. If the case studies have never been written down and the work has never been photographed, that is the project, and the design is the easy half. Firms that already have a document describing what they do finish in a fraction of the time.
Every additional approver adds a round, and rounds are where timelines go. It is not the number of revisions, it is the number of people who have to agree before a revision is final. We ask who signs off before we scope.
A brochure site and a site that has to route an enquiry into something you already run are different projects. If the enquiry has to land somewhere specific and be trackable, say so at the start rather than after launch.
One audience and one clear action is a straightforward build. Separating three audiences without making the homepage a menu is a structural problem, and it is worth solving properly because getting it wrong makes every page vaguer.
One we built, and what it had to prove.
Towa Marine has installed marine air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration for over thirty years, working out of Singapore and into the shipyards at Port Klang and Tanjong Uncang. Their buyer is a superintendent deciding, often from another timezone and under real time pressure, whether a Singapore yard can take the job now. The site opens on availability and reach rather than company history, because that is the whole shortlisting decision.
Towa Marine
Marine air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration. Built around a 24-hour response commitment and the vessel types actually handled.
Hong Hock Global
Water infrastructure, awarded almost entirely on prequalification. The site is a prequalification document rather than a brochure.
THK Engineering
Precision engineering. Capability and tolerance stated plainly, for readers who already know what those words mean.
Working from Singapore
Clients abroad since 2023. Calls on video, documents signed electronically, and the same process whether you are in Tuas or Rotterdam.
What people ask before they commit.
The ones that come up on nearly every call, answered the way we answer them on the call.
The build is rarely the constraint. What decides the timeline is whether the content exists and how many people approve it. A firm with its case studies already written and one decision maker moves several times faster than a firm with neither, on identical scope. We give a date once we know which of those you are.
Yes, and that includes the domain, the hosting account, the CMS login and the design files. What does not transfer is a commercial plugin licence bought under our account, because that is a subscription tied to an account rather than a file. The site keeps working; it stops receiving that plugin’s updates.
Yes. It is built on WordPress with a visual editor, and handover includes a recorded walkthrough of your actual site rather than a generic manual. Most clients edit text and images themselves and call us for structural changes.
Thirty days of support is included on every build, covering bug fixes, minor content edits and questions. After that, hosting and maintenance are available and quoted on what the site actually needs. We do not hand over a login and disappear.
No. We have worked with clients abroad since 2023. Calls happen on video, documents are signed electronically, and the process runs the same way. The one thing distance genuinely affects is photography, which needs somebody on site.
Sometimes, and we will say so. If the structure is sound and the problem is that it looks dated, a refresh is cheaper and faster and we will recommend it. If enquiries are landing badly or the work is not documented anywhere, a redesign paints over the actual problem.
- A written answer, not a sales proposal
- What is wrong, and what to fix first
- Yours whether or not you build with us
